So, if Trevor was born on April 1 and Loki was born sometime around April 15, does that blow the poll already? We hope not! :o) It is definitely kitten season here. There are a lot of kittens at the local Humane Society that will be ready to go to new homes at the beginning of July.

We think a poll on this would be really interesting. Our local Cat Protection branch and the local RSPCA both say that kitten season is now all year around, with bigger flushes of kittens during the traditional season. This is really affecting their ability to home adult and older cats, as they rarely see periods of kitten shortage - which used to be when the older cats got a greater chance to be homed. We've read about the UK milder winters contributing to this change too.

Look forward to the poll!
