Yesterday, Mommycat and Dadcat went to FOAL farm – it’s our local animal sanctuary. FOAL stands for Friends of Animals League. FOAL is a no-kill shelter (I think they all are in England?) It was started in 1960, and occupies 26 acres! They also do goggies and wabbets, but I’m not interested in them…
Daddycat took a video camera and wanted to introduce all our readers to the cats there, to show how many there are, and to remind people to adopt a cat, cos WE DESERVE IT!!!! (as my friend Brian says)
So here’s a quick tour around all the kitties there… It started raining while they were there, and Dadcat got wet! Haw haw!!

So many sweet cats. We purr they will all get homes.
They are lovely and friendly kitties. We hope they soon get their forever homes.
Awww I do hope those kitties get good homes in the future!
What a wonderful facility! It looks so well run and nicely kept. I’ll bet it takes a lot of helpers! Thanks for introducing us to every single one. How sweet was (Francesca?) to paw at the window at you?
It looks like someone was tempted by the black cats at the end…
If we had acres of land to spare and loads of money we would home every single one of those gorgeous cats. Sadly we can’t, but I hope they find their forever homes soon!
This looks like a great facility. I hope the kitties get a great forever home soon.
Hope daddycat and mommycat are thinking of bringing home a friend for you.
Our momcat and dadcat’s daughter gave a home to two rats (yes rats) from here – Hamish and Haggis – and they lived in a big tank right next to her bed. WE weren’t allowed anywhere near them…
Thank you for the tour and for introducing us to so many gorgeous kitties! We hope they all find homes very soon! Chloe stole our hearts! Did you take a black cat ro two home with you?
There are so many cute kitties who need homes, aren’t there?
What a wonderful place for the kitties while they are waiting for their furever homes!
What a wonderful place…Oh to dream of working somewhere as wonderful as that!
When folks want a kitty the furry first place they should go is da local shelters. Just look at us! Alla’ us camed from the shelters and we are some purr-ty good kitties.
that is a furry awesome place! their cages are like mini kitteah apartments =^_^=
Awww, what wonderful cats. What a shame that they have been abandoned. I wish I could adopt or at least foster a couple. But our house is rented and the landlord wouldn’t allow us to have anymore. But it is interesting how there are so many black cats left at the shelter. I’ve read an article in this month’s Your Cat where they have said that it all depends on colour and I was thinking to myself that that’s pretty cruel to think that most people looking to purchase a cat for the first time base there choice on colour. It’s almost racist! It angers me alot. Kitty x
We love that video! Thank you so much for posting. I love that the floofers have a nice place to stay.
That looks like a wonderful place for kitties waiting for forever homes. They were all darling. We purr they get homes soon. Thanks for showing the tour of all of the kitties.
We love the video! This is a great place for the kitties. We loved that your Daddycat introduced us to all the kitties. Great job!

What a wonderful place FOAL is! We are so thankful for well-run, no-kill shelters, where the kitties are loved and taken care of until they find their forever homes. Thank you for sharing!
