You remember we had a post a while ago, where dadcat took a video and filmed every cat at our local rescue home, FOAL Farm?
Well, we had a lovely email from their Bosscat, saying how much they enjoyed the film, and inviting Dadcat to go and meet some of them, and have a cup of coffee! After the coffee, he was taken to the isolation block, which is the place where the sick kitties go, and where the kittens go before they’re old enough to be adopted!
I don’t know why I’m sounding excited though, as I’m sure you KNOW, Dadcat can’t be trusted around kittens that need homes… so now he’s probably going to take momcat there, and they’re going to come home with a baby brother for me!!! I have no idea how I’ll react, but it may be worth lots of treats for as long as I can get away with it!
Of course, they’ll have a serious think about a baby brother first, as adopting kittens is a serious business, of course!
Daddycat thinks this is going to happen when I get a baby brother.

Siblings are cool. Our mom was quite surprised though at how difficult the first week was when Chilli came to live with us. She read loads of advice first and thought she was prepared, but… ha! This is exciting!
Oh Freya, how exciting! I think you would enjoy having a bebbeh brother to boss around. My problem is that Harley was already bigger than me when he came to my house. Just take it slow, getting used to a new sibling can take a little bit of time!
Having a baby brother will be fun! You’ll have the impawtent job of showing him around and teaching him lots of good stuff.

Freya, take it from Cat of NINE Tales, siblings are a blast! You’ll be snuggling in no time. It’s always easiest to get used to a kitten sibling…because you can teach him everything he needs to know before he’s old enough to have his say. He’ll worship you!

Well, Freya, it’s a really good sign that your Mom and Dadcat are thinking about it, anyway! What fun it would be if you had a brother (or a sister)! It’s nice that your practising, anyway. Practice makes purrfect, after all!
We’re always hoping a shelter cat will get its forever home, and especially a home where he can become world-famous — like yours!
