So, I was happily minding my own business in MY room, when they bring in my big sister to say hello.
She jumps down and HISSES right in my face!! It was all I could do to keep myself from passing out from the bad breath!
I didn’t move or cry though, cos I’m a big strong ruffty-tuffty mancat….
Maybe she’ll want to play tomorrow? I wonder why she left the room? Maybe she went to get some toys to bring them back for both of us to play?
I’m sure she wouldn’t have run away because she’s SCARED of me? I did give her one of my hardest Paddington stares when she was spitting in my face!
I want to be let out of this room.. I get lonely sometimes, and I want to explore! When Mom & Dad open the door, I run through their legs as fast as I can sometimes!

Teego, darling, I am very proud of you! Your sister will certainly warm up to your ginger charm. She’s been an only cat for a while, so you will need to be patient with her. Mom and Dad will make sure she knows there’s plenty of love to share!!
(It always amazes me how open kittens can be in the face of hissiness. I know Percy’s tendency to simply sit and let our foster adults hiss and growl away, without reacting, has helped speed their socialization!)
You did very well in the face of that hissiness! I’m sure things will settle down to normal soon (I hope!)

That was very rude of her to hiss smelly breath at you. When I hated Eric for having the VET smell, mum was surprised at the smelly breath I found to hiss at him cuz my breath isn’t usually smelly.

Hey, watch that smelly breath stuff…one of my sisters, I won’t say which one, had bad breath and she had a bad gum infection…which after a shot is all better now!

Don’t worry! Your sister will soon come to love you. When Lola first came home Charlie would hiss at her and be really mean. Now they sleep and play together. Thomas doesn’t like anybody, but then that’s Thomas
