The other day, I learned how to make myself look HUGE and SCARTY!
I just looked at my sister, and WHOOSH – there I was! I’d never done it before – Aren’t I BIG?
I wasn’t angry or anything, although I certainly look it… I just walked over to her and started to admire my tail. Daddycat says I “did a bogbrush” (referring to my tail)

Those are some neat photos…we hardly ever get “Bussy Tail around here”…we do get some yelling and fast running though.

Now why would yoor sisfur make yoo get all puffy? We just call it “cranky tail” but Speedy and Sadie get a little poof just around da base when dey is happy and we called dat “happy tail”. Ugh, we are sooo lame.
You puffed up real good, Teego. Something must have given you a little scare. I cannot make my tail very puffy, on account of my curly fur does not stick out very well.

You must not have recognized your sister for half a second. Penny does that to me sometimes if I have a funny hat on and she doesn’t know for sure who I am. We call it “wigged-out” when kitties puff up like that.

We also call that the floofy tail or floof up. You are protecting yourself and good job at doing it. You were telling your sister not to attack you. Hope you have a great day.
Flynn: Mum calls it my bottle brush tail when I do that. Eric never does it but his fur stands up on his back. I get a little tail poof at the base of my tail like Sadie and Speedy when I am very happy too. Mum calls it my chrysanthebum cuz she says it looks like a flower.

You’re tail looks so pawsome! We don’t have enough fur on our skinny tails to do much bogbrush. But, Bambi can do a really good “spine tingler” when the opossum comes to the back yard.
