For ages, Chatzi has had this evil whisker on his head above his eye, and we finally got round to photographing it!
Update: a couple of days later, the broken bit fell off, leaving the stub. Good job we photographed it when we did!
How on earth do you break a whisker? if you find one on the floor, try and break it… They just bend, like hairs, or at worst they fold. But they’re unbreakable.
So there you have it. Chatzi can even break an unbreakable whisker!
Chatzi has special talents!

Our mom saves any whiskers she finds too, but she’s never seen one that has broken off! We guess that makes you special, Chatzi!
That’s what happens when you’ve got split ends! Looks like Chatzi needs some special whisker conditioner.

I know kittens chew on whiskers causing them to break off. Maybe it had some help.
We’ve had that happen to us before too. We don’t know how it happens though.

That’s (was) a very stylish whisker. We think a whisker has a life of about 12 weeks then falls out. Maybe when the broken bit falls out a new interestingly shaped one will grow in its place? Our collects our fallen whiskers when they fall out. She keeps them in a little tin which we find a bit creepy hehe
